This monument was installed to honor all veterans on May 30,1993
as a part of the Memorial Day celebration it was installed by:

A memorial brick walkway is also at the monument site with the names of Livingston County, Ky. veterans.
Bricks are still available for $25.00. Most of the bricks are for Livingston County veterans or veterans with a Livingston Co. connection but ANY veteran can be honored.
The funds collected go for the brick and the engraving and also to help
fund bricks for charter members who have no family left to honor them.

The Ladies Auxuliery is making a quilt to be displayed in the Legion Hall each quilt square will have the name and information of a veteran.
We hope to include a photo of the quilt here when it is completed.
