Funeral services for Jackie Wade Alexander, 66, of Cadiz, were conducted
on Thursday, October 14, 2004, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Rev. James Shuck officiated at the services. Burial followed in Siloam Cemetery
in Trigg County.
Mr. Alexander died on Tuesday, October 12, 2004, at 6:45 a.m., at his residence
of natural causes.
Mr. Alexander was born on October 9, 1938, in Trigg County. He was the son
of the late Troy and Alma Wade Allen Alexander.
Mr. Alexander was a veteran of the U.S. Army; was retired from South Central
Bell; was a farmer; and a member of Siloam United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy
Ray Alexander.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Kim Alexander
of Cadiz, and Kendall and Kristen Alexander of Bowling Green; and two grandchildren,
Blaine Alexander and Troy Alexander.
Music was provided by Lou Cain, pianist.
Serving as pallbearers were James Adams, Jr., Marcellious Alexander, George
Lewis, Donnie Tyler, William E. Tyler, and John R. Vinson, III.
Honorary pallbearers were Tim Allen, Tommie Allen, Jimmie Adams, William
L. Morris, Donnie Ray Lancaster, Harry Todd, and Eddie "Mickey" Larkins.
