Funeral services for Gentry Gray, 95, of Cadiz, were
conducted on February 1, 2003, at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Rev. James Shuck officiated the services. Burial followed in Siloam Cemetery
in Trigg County.
Mr. Gray died on January 30 at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.
Mr. Gray was born on January 4, 1908, in Trigg County. He was the son of
the late William H. and Nancy Gray.
Mr. Gray was a farmer and a member of Siloam United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse
James Gray, and a sister, Mildred Mathis.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Dean Gray of Cadiz; and four sisters, Dortha
Dillard of Nashville, Tenn., Evelyn Robinson of Clawson, Mi., Susie Bush
and Martha Hooks, both of Cadiz.
Pallbearers were Thomas Hughes Gentry, Robert Allen, Eddie Gray, David Gray,
Haley Roberts and James Mathis.
Honorary pallbearers were James Adams Sr., James Adams Jr., Bill Cain, Perry
Alexander, Kevin Alexander, Joe Jones, Donnie Allen, Keith Patterson and
Jim Patterson.
