James Lee Allen Died At Home of His Daughter On
December 5
Death came to one of Trigg counties prominent citizens December the 5th at the home of his daughter, Mrs K.T.
FAUGHN, after several months of illness.
James Lee ALLEN was born in Trigg county, January 8, 1863. He had spent his entire life in Trigg county and was a well known and highly respected old citizen. About sixty years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Lee GREENWOOD who preceded him to his grave about eleven years ago. To this union was
born ten children, two dying in infancy. Another Ira Earl died about two years ago.
Those children surviving are; Lloyd, Fay, and Jim Allen all of Trigg county, Mrs K.T. FAUGHN, Mrs Fay THOMAS and Mrs Robert FREEMAN, of Trigg
county. Several grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Siloam Methodist Church, on December 6, with Reverend I.D. Morrison officiating. Burial took place at the Allen graveyard, near the home place.
