Rev. Andrew Franklin (Frank) ALLEN was the first known child of Elbert Carroll ALLEN and Tennessee WATKINS. He was born on the 22nd of June in 1850 in Tennessee and died on the 31 of Jul 1924. He married Jim Ella HALE.
Frank was the minister at Pond Creek.
Many family members were also members of the New Bethel Church located in Davidson County, Tn on the Cub Creek Road and Pond Creek Road crossing. These church roll records were destroyed in a house fire at the home of Robbie and Emma Allen along with the family Bible information. Shepard Allen had seen the bible recordings and was aware of some of the entries. Other Allens who were members of that church were:

Nannie Irene Allen born Jan 12 1876 and died Aug 2, 1878. Nannie is buried at the Allen Cemetery on River Road, Davidson County, Tn.

Dr. Rufus H. Allen - died 1919 and buried at the Mt.
Olivet Cemetery in Nashville, Tn.
