This is a picture of the old Smithland Methodist Church on Mill Street.
It was destroyed inside by fire then had severe flood damage in 1937, so they rebuilt the church on higher ground.
The new building was built after the 1937 flood at the present location next to the courthouse in Smithland, Ky.
