REV. T. B. JEWELL
The Rev. T. B. Jewell was converted in a meeting at Shady Grove General Baptist Church, Poole, Kentucky, which was conducted by Rev. J. C. Cummins and Rev. W. W. Oakley in October, 1919; was called to the ministry and licensed to preach at Pleasant Hope church, October 14, 1921; ordained to the full work of the ministry October 16, 1923, at Green's Chapel church by Rev. J. F. Bumpus and Rev. Charles Polley.

He attended Oakland City College and graduated there in June 1925, with a Bachelor of Divinity degree.

He has pastored the following churches: Free Union, Beulah, Henderson, and Corydon. He was the first pastor of the Henderson church, and served them for four years, going from there to the Corydon church.

he served as clerk of Union Association in 1930 and 1931. Also clerk of the Presbytery for some eight or nine years. He was inactive as a Minster from 1934 until March 1953, when he was re-instated to the full work of the ministry by the Presbytery of Union Association while in session at the Cumberland Valley Church.
