Marvin Alvis "Jeff" Jeffcoat attended Aberdeen Senior High School in Aberdeen, Md before moving to Ft Riley, Ks. He graduated from Junction City (Ks) High School in 1961, and upon graduation, became a Cadet at West Point Military Academy. I assume he graduated from West Point in 1965. I lost contact with Jeff in 1962, and was unaware he was stationed at Ft Campbell, Ky, just 20 minutes from me, until the time of the Gander crash. Jeff was the commanding officer of the men and women stationed at Ft Campbell who died in this terrible crash.
