A Trip to Cerulean

When you get to the spring, it is a cool shady place with the spring sitting off to your right.  As you can see from the picture, it has been covered and lattice work has been placed in the front.  Two rows of concrete blocks were added to the wall that was already there as you can see from the picture of the steps.  The new blocks are a lighter color.  The hand rails look as if they have always been there but they were placed there when William turner and Wallace Blakely were working on getting it cleaned up in the spring of 2006.

A lady in Cerulean has planted hostas along each side of the wall and, I think more plans are in the works for more landscaping later on.  Maybe someday in the near future this area will once more be a great draw for Cerulean and Trigg County. - Yvonne

My daughter and grandaughter were both chickens and wouldn't even go down to the spring.  They were afraid of snakes.
