This Bible was the original property of John A. HOLLAND & Minerva STANDROD (he was the son of Richard HOLLAND & Rebecca D. INGE; she was the daughter of Basdel STANDROD and Rebecca ROGERS)

This Bible passed to their son, Samuel Matthew HOLLAND (1857-1927) and his wife, Lucy King BAKER (daughter of Blake BAKER and Elizabeth Jane GRASTY).

At the time of transcription, the Bible was in the possession of S.M. Holland's grandson, Nello B. HOLLAND of Rockcastle, KY.

There are several different handwriting styles throughout the record with entries covering several generations.
