REV. CARL D. WILLIAMS
The Rev. Carl D. Williams was converted February 17th 1946, at the First General Baptist Church of Detroit, Mich., and united with this church on February 24, 1946.

He answered the call to the ministry in October, 1950, and the following March was licensed to preach. In March of 1952 he was ordained to the full work of the ministry by the Michigan Presbytery.

He moved to Oakland City, Indiana, in August 1951, and entered Oakland City College. He filled the pulpit for a number of pastors until November, 1952, then was called to pastor Shady Grove General Baptist Church at Poole, Kentucky., which is his first pastorate, and it is full time work.

he has preached 114 sermons, there have been 17 conversions under his ministry, and he has baptized 18 people.
