REV. ROY RIDENOUR
The Rev. Ridenour was born August 22, 1915; was converted at the age of fourteen and joined the Livermore General Baptist church.

In 1946 he felt that God wanted him to preach, but he didn't want to do so, thinking it would be impossible for him to preach. On February 7, 1949 God made it so plain to him that he surrendered to God's will and plan. That was at two o'clock a.m.

On March 13, 1949 he preached his first sermon in his home church -- Livermore, and while Rev. J. O. Stewart was the pastor. On Friday before the 5th Sunday in May of that year he was licensed to preach at the General Baptist church in Princeton, Ky.

In September, 1949 he accepted the pastorate of the Mt. Lebanon church, for two Sundays a month; also he pastored the Sebree church, which soon went to half time.

On November 27th, 1949 he was ordained to the full work of the ministry by the Presbytery of Union Association.

He has preached 580 sermons; witnessed 150 conversions; baptized 23 candidates; conducted 15 funerals; and married nine couples.

He has preached in 15 revival meetings, and the Lord has blessed his efforts.
