REV. J. W. CREASY

The Rev. J. W. Creasy was converted in June 1932, and united with Beech Grove General Baptist church in 1933. He held his membership with this church until September 30, 1945. At that time the Princeton (Ky.) General Baptist church was organized, and he went into the organization as a charter member. he was ordained as a deacon of the Princeton church shortly afterwards.

He has recently moved his membership back to Beech Grove General Baptist church, and is full time pastor of that church.

He was called to the ministry on November 4th, 1951, and preached his first sermon two weeks later, at which time there were five professions of faith in Christ as their Saviour, one of whom was his oldest son. He was licensed to preach in 1952, and was elected for ordination to the full work of the ministry on March 27, 1953, and was ordained at Beech Grove church, April 26, 1953.

Number of conversions witnessed, as pastor are three, and number of sermons preached during his ministry of 18 months are 98.

The Rev. Creasy was elected moderator of the Ministers' and Deacons' Meeting on March 27, 1953, for this year.
