William J.(efferson) Hodges

W. J. Hodges, one of the oldest residents of Marion, died Tuesday afternoon, July 5, at his home in Marion. Mr. Hodges was 80 years old and was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in the Union Army.
Surviving Mr. Hodge are a number of sons and daughters. Mrs. Ann Kemp, Robert Hodges, and Mrs. Laura Bell Hendricks, all of Detroit, Mich., Marion A. Hodges, of Providence, Ernest Hodges, of Tribune, Mrs. Lora Eger, of Evansville, Mrs. Vina Brown of Tribune, Miss Mamie Hodges, of Casper, Wyoming, Roy V. Hodges, of Marion and Mrs. Verbie Merritt, of Evansville.
