    Geneva Mattingly
    Geneva Mattingly, 82 of Clay, died Friday, June 31 [sic] at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
    She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years. She was a member of the Enon General Baptist Church at Marian, was a 4-H leader for many years and was a member of the Webster County Historical Society. Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ellen Mattingly of Prospect; two sons, William T. Mattingly, Jr. of Wausau, Wisconsin and Edward Mattingly of Versailles; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 from Enon General Baptist Church in Marion.
    Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery at Clay.
    Vanover Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

    Mary Sybil Hunt, 84, of Stilwell, Kansas, formerly of Marion, died Aug. 16, 2004 at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton, Mo.
    She was a member of Pleasant Hill Church.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mildred Rogers of Overland Park, Kan.; two sisters,
    Carolyn Gordon of Bowling Green and Pensy Strickland; a brother, Samuel Morrow
    of Lilian, Ala.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold "Short" Hunt, and her parents, Samuel H. and Ruth Morrow.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Sarah M. Dunbar, 90, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Providence, Ky., died Wednesday Dec. 12, 2007, at University Heights Nursing Home in Indianapolis.
    She was a charter member of Speedway General Baptist Church and had worked for RCA for 15 years.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dunbar; her son, Jerry Wayne Dunbar; and her daughter, Minnie Alice Dunbar.
    She is survived by one brother, the Rev. Chester Ross of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at White Oak General Baptist Church in Clay, Ky. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery in Clay.
    Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
    Melton Funeral Home in Providence is in charge of arrangements.
