Bonnie Richardson, 87, Dies; 1994 Jefferson Award Winner

Bonnie Irene Richardson, the 1994 Thomas Jefferson Award winner for "Outstanding Public Service Benefiting Local Communities", died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at the family home in Nashville. She was 87.

She received the award from the American Institute of Outstanding Public Service.

She was a native of Marion, Ky. but had lived in Chattanooga for more than 50 years.

Mrs. Richardson was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church ans was the owner and operator of a home for Senior Citizens for 32 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Roy Richardson.

Survivord include her son, Robert Joseph Guess, Poseyville, In. one daughter, Mary De Fullington, Nashville, two brothers, Roy Guess, Stanton Calif., and Charles Guess, Napa, Idaho, two sisters, Lavine Cavanah, Hopkinsville, Ky., and Thelma Grimes, Salem, Ky.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
