Kelly School 1913

Back in 1913 the student body of Kelly's two room, eight grade school, north of Hopkinsville, on the Madisonville Road posed for this picture.  The school, located back of the Kelly Baptist Church, burned years ago.  the old photo was provided by Mrs. W. C. Gladdish, now a teacher at Crofton School, whose sister, Miss Elizabeth Hayes, was one of the two teachers back then.  The other was Mrs. Nora Williamson.
Many of the pupils still live in the Kelly community.
