Pennyrile Deaths May 10, 1999Dixie Trotter Wells, 88, Covington’s Convalescent Center, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday at Covington’s of natural causes.Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Raymond Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in the West Macedonia Cemetery in Pennyrile Park. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight.A native of Christian County, she was born august 17, 1910, the daughter of the late Richard and Katie Crick. She was a homemaker and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Her husband, Herman Wells, died in 1994. An infant son, Harrell Cecil Trotter, also preceded her in death.Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Trotter Johnson, Crofton; two stepsons, Russell Wells, Elkton, Jesse Wells, Puryear, Tenn; four step daughters, Marie Davis, Highland, N.C. Virginia Mc Clain, Winter Haven, Fla., Dell Blankney, Calvert City, Linda Cherry, Pittsville, Ill; a brother, Jewell Crick, Crofton; two sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Fort Smith, Ark., Colleen Waters, Hopkinsville; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at her home

legal secretary, having worked in Nashville and
Springfield, Tenn. She was a member of the First
United Methodist Church, Springfield.Survivors include two daughters, Janet Wells,
Nashville, Judi Wells, Livermore, Calif.; a brother,
Robert Dill, Honey Grove; a sister, Ruby
Christian, Charlestown, Ind., and one grandchild.

Sibyl C. Wells, 85, Camilla Drive, died at 11:13 a.m. Tuesday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a long illness. Burial will be in Johnson's Chapel Cemetery.A native of Christian County, she was born January 17, 1913, the daughter of the late Oscar and Mamie Langley Grace. She was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Allie Wells; two daughters, Joyce Wells Linehan, Phoenix, Judy Grace Wells Rushing, Milford, Ohio; two sisters, Lorane Simpson and Desma Colley, both of Hopkinsville, six grandchildren and eight Great-grandchildren.
