JOHN P. TRAVIS DIES
Word has been received here of the death of John P. TRAVIS at 3 oÕclock Saturday morning at his home in Lenoir
city, Tenn.
Mr. Travis, who was 41 years of age, formerly resided here. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ellice Coleman TRAVIS; two sons, Jack and Bobbie Travis, both of Lenoir City; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Travis; and a sister, Mrs. T. N. Letcher.
Funeral and burial services will be held in Lenoir City.Paducah - Date unknown

Robert Travis, 83, Princeton, died at 4:32 a.m. Saturday at Caldwell County Hospital following a long illness.
Services were at 1 this afternoon at Morgan's Fneral Home, with the Rev. Charles Westfall officiating. Burial was to be in Meeks Cemetery.
A native of Crittenden County, he was born Sept. 25, 1914, the son of the late John and Flossie Dunn Travis. He was a retired farmer and attended the Barbee Memorial Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lora Phelps Travis; a brother Leonard Travis, Caldwell County; a sister, Ruth Winstead, Dixon and two foster grandchildren.


SAMUEL MILLER TRAVIS

STURGIS -- Samuel Miller Travis, 88, Sturgis, died at 8:10 a.m. Monday at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg, Ill.
A retired farmer, he was a member of Sturgis General Baptist Church for 49 years.
He was preceded in death by one son, Willie Joe Travis, who died in 1992.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta; one daughter, Louise Edwards of Chandler, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. Brothers Nicky Winters and Robert Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
