At a picnic in Henderson county, William Johnson tried to shoot a man named Walden.
Joseph Stinson ran forward to prevent Johnson using the gun, which he had already raised.
Stinson grabbed the muzzle, and at the same instant Johnson pulled the trigger and sixty-seven buckshot were discharged into the man, he falling dead without a cry.
