Death Comes Suddenly to Splendid Lady Who Was Born and Raised In Trigg
MRS JOE STALLONS died suddenly Tuesday morning at her homer near Blue Spring, of heart trouble.
She lived only an hour after she was taken ill.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon and burial was in the blue spring neighborhood.
Mrs. Stallons was the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Richard Guier, and was born in Trigg county, near what is known as the Sallie Guier Spring, and her entire life had been spent in this county.
She united in marriage to Mr. Joe Stallons, who survives her. No children were born to this union, but Mrs. Stallons raised two children, a boy and a girl, and these two were always like her own to her.
One brother, Jasper Guier, of Missouri, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Morris of Hopkinsville, also survive her.
Mrs.
Stallons, when a young lady united with the Mt. Pleasant baptist church and kept her faith and letter steadfast in this church until the time of her death. Many people of this counry will miss Mrs. Stallons, and a large crowd who followed the remains to the last resting place testified to her popularity.

LEILA JO HAMPTON STALLONS
Leila Jo Hampton Stallons, 62, died at 12:43 A.m. Wednesday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Hopkinsville.
A native of Gainesville, Fla., she was born Oct 22, 1935, the daughter of the late John LeRoy and Bessie Nobles Hampton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cadiz Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, Lofton Stallons; a son, Terry Stallons, Cadz, a daughter, Debbie Stallons, Cadiz, a brother, Donald Hampton, Gainesville and a sister, Marcell Thomas, Gainesville.
