AGNES M. SIZEMORE

Mrs. Agnes M. Sizemore, 71, of 919 First St. died Sunday morning at Redbanks Nursing Home.
She is survived by her husband, Aura; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Spanhoward of Henderson; one grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Hoose of Mishawaka, Ind., and Mrs. Walter Hartford of St. Louis; two brothers, Curtis Williams of Evansville and Vasal Williams of Michawake, Ind.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Tapp Funeral Home with the Rev. Thornton Stanley officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call anytime at the funeral home. 



CHARLES S. SIZEMORE

CADIZ, Ky. -- Charles S. Sizemore, 86, Ypsilanti, Mich., formerly of Trigg County, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at The Village Retirement Home, Ypsilanti, of natural causes.
Services will be Saturday at Zurowski Funeral Home, Livonia, Mich., and burial will be in Oakland Hills Cemetery in Michigan. Visitation is today at the funeral home.

A native of Trigg County, he was born Oct. 21, 1916, the son of the late Jacob L. and Martha Mason Sizemore. He was retired from Western Electric Co. in Michigan. He was a World War II Army veteran and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Detroit, Mich. He was a former member of the Wallonia Baptist Church. His wife, Rilda Marie Schoneman Sizemore, died in 1986.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas Reese Sizemore, Lookout Mountain, Ga., Donald Deane Sizemore, Ann Arbor, Mich., and three grandchildren.

Frances M. Sizemore, 92, Christian Co., Ky.
Died Friday 11 April 1947 in his home.
Born near Crofton in Christian Co. He would have been 93 on 19 October.
Farmer. Member of Palestine Baptist Church.
Survivors: Mrs. Jim Carroll and Mrs. J. R. Thompson of Christian Co.
Services: Saturday 12 April 1947, burial in Hamby Cemetery.

Harvey Thomas Sizemore Sr., 43, Cadiz, Ky.
Did Thursday 8 September 1966 at Norton Infirmary in Louisville, Ky.
Born 3 June 1923 in Trigg Co., son of the late Jacob Sizmore and Martha Mason Sizemore, who survives and lives in Trigg Co.
Cadiz business man, member of the Cadiz Baptist Church, veteran of World War II. Married Jean Mitchell on 7 August 1943.
Survivors: four sons, Harvey Sizemore Jr., Wills and Allison of the home and Jimmie of Murray; daughter, Miss Jeanie Sizemore also of the home; three brothers, Charles of Livonia, Mich., John and Herbert Sizemore both of Trigg Co.; and a grandson, Harvey III.
Services: Saturday 10 September 1966, burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Goodwin Funeral Home.

Joseph Frederick Sizemore
Joseph Frederick Sizemore, 82, Christian Co., Ky. Died Wednesday 4 March 1970 at his home.

Born 12 June 1887, son of Joseph P. and Laura Stephens Sizemore.

Retired farmer. Member of Sinking Fork Christian Church. First wife, Fannie E. Hill, died in 1951. He then married Mrs. Amy Wood Miller in 1953, who survives.

Other survivors: two daughters, Mrs. Bennett Major and Mrs. J. W. Hammond, both of Nashville; son, Douglas Sizemore of Christian Co.; two stepchildren, Mrs. Lucian Cox and Kenneth Miller; a brother, Ennis Sizemore; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Hill all of the county; four grandchildren.

Services: Friday 6 March 1970, burial in Riverside Cemetery. Hughart Funeral Home.



Laura Sizemore
Laura Stephens Sizemore, 75, Christian Co., Ky.
Died Thursday 19 February 1942 at her home in the Sinking Fork community.

Born in Metcalfe Co., daughter of Mr. & Mrs. F. M. Stephens.

Was a member of the Sinking Fork Christian Church. Was married to J. P. Sizemore who died four years ago. A daughter, Mrs. E. R. Watson died last year.

Survivors: four sons, Nelson of Herrin, Ill., Fred, Ennis and Raymond Sizemore all of Christian Co.; one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Hill of Christian Co.; one brother, W. C. Stephens of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Wade of Hopkinsville and Mrs. L. M. Hill of Christian Co.; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Services: Friday 20 February 1942, burial in Riverside Cem.


OSCAR LEWIS SIZEMORE

Oscar Lewis Sizemore of Caldwell Co., Ky.
Died Saturday 7 October 1950 in Princeton Hospital.
Born 20 August 1882 in Caldwell Co., son of Samuel M. and Fannie Hoover Sizemore.
Farmer, resided in Cobb section of the county.
Survivors: sister, Mrs. Myrtle Dunning; two brothers, Herman of Cobb and Albert of Herrin, Ill.
Services: Sunday 9 October 1950, burial in Rogers Cem.

Raymond Sizemore
Raymond Sizemore, 66, Christian Co., Ky. died Saturday 12 February 1966 at his home after returning from a church meeting.

Born 19 June 1899 in Christian Co., son of Joseph J. and Laura D. Stephens Sizemore.

Farmer. Member of Sinking Fork Christian Church where he served as deacon, member of Hopkinsville Masonic Lodge, member and past patron of the Carrie Hart Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors: widow, Gertha Robinson Sizemore; two brothers, Ennis Sizemore and Fred Sizemore and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Hill, all of Christian Co.

Services: Monday 14 February 1966, burial in Riverside Cemetery.
