CARRIE B. SHIVER
 

Carrie B. Shiver, 85, of 937 S. Main St., died at 6:25: a.m. Thursday at Community Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a retired teacher in the Henderson County School System.
She is survived by one son, Walter D. Shiver of Henderson; one brother, Add Young Boswell of Evansville; one grand- daughter, Dee Ann Shiver of Henderson; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bratcher officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home.

Mrs. Earl (Evelyn Lena Shepard) Shivers, 74, Cerulean Route 1. Died Monday 10 Dec. 1962 at the New Elmhurst Nursing Home.
Born in Christian Co.
Lived for 40 years in California, returning here after the death of her husband two years ago at Victorville, Calif. Member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors: brother, W. L. Shepard of Cerulean; a sister, Mrs. Alice Litchfield of Hopkinsville; four nieces, Mrs. Buin Jamerson, Mrs. Esther Poindexter, and Mrs. Grace Turner all of Christian Co. and Mrs. Nellie Murrah of Pontiac, Mich.; and twin nephews, Adie L. Ladd of Hopkinsville and Auta L. Ladd of Princeton.
Services: Wednesday 12 Dec 1962, burial in Hawkins Cem., Christian Co. Keightley Funeral Home.
