Prominent Trigg Politican Dies Here
Mr. George W. Quick, a prominent Trigg county citizen and Democratic politician, died at the home of his brother, John C. Quick, on South Campbell Street this city, Sunday afternoon about 8 o'clock. He had been suffering from dropsy for some time and about two weeks ago came to this city for treatment. Everything possible was done to relieve his suffering, but he grew gradually worse until the end came. Mr. Quick was 60 years old and leaves a widow and several children. The remains were taken to Trigg county yesterday afternoon and the interment will take place in the old Quick burying ground, about two miles east of Cadiz, at 2 o'clock p.m. today.

HIXON M. QUICK
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hammond and Mrs. Pearl Malone of the city
attended the last rites of HIXON M. QUICK, in Princeton last Thursday afternoon.
Mr. QUICK passed away Tuesday morning at the Henderson
hospital where he was admitted one week prior to his death.
The survivors are include one daughter, Mrs. J. R. MARROW OF Cleveland, Ohio and one grandson, JOHNNY LIGON, one greatgrand child; one sister, Mrs. R. H. AKIN, Memphis, Ten.
Funeral services were held in Henderson and burial was made in Princeton cemetery. Mr. QUICK was a brother-in law
of Mrs. MALONE and an uncle of EDWARD MALONE of this city.
