ROBERT E. PETRIEGraveside services for Robert Elgin Petrie, 89, Cox Mill Road, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery, with the Rev. Thomas W. Eblen officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 tonight at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville.He died at 3:05 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a long illness.
A native of Fairview, he was born Sept. 20, 1910, the son of the late John Wesley and Kate E. Layne Petrie. He was a self-employed tobacconist and was a co-owner of Petrie and Altsheler Liquor Store, Skyline Drive. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Deason Petrie; two daughters, Patricia Knight and Ann Petrie, both of Hopkinsville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
