JAMES PERKINS

Mr. James Perkins, father of Captain A R. Perkins, died at his home in this county, Sunday morning at 11 o'clock. He was buried at L.W.D. Hamby's Monday. This is the fifth member of this family to pass away in the last eight months.

Mrs. Kathleen Perkins, 82, of 1020 Stewart Ave. died at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Community Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of the Race Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, James of Miami, Fla., Guy Gred of Nashville e, Tenn., and Roy of Henderson; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Doris Garrett of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Virginia Hagan of Henderson; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Herliburton and Mrs. Annie Watkins, all of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Lonnie Hoard of Watersa, Tenn., and Commier Hoard of Shelbyville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are pending at Gains Funeral Home.

MATILDA PERKINS

Mrs. Matilda Perkins, the mother of Capt. A.R. Perkins, died Tuesday evening. She was buried at Mr. L.W.D. Hamby's place. A host of friends grieve over her departure and tender their sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
