OSBOURN
A dispatch was received Sept. 4th from Fresville, Mexico, stating the sudden death of Col. J.C. Osbourn, who has been in bad health, and his death - occasioned by heart disease - brought on by the high altitude of that portion of Mexico, 9,000 feet above the sea. The genial elegant gentleman will be largely missed. On his person was found a ticket for home, via Hopkinsville, Ky, for a 10 day visit to friends. Courier Journal.
