BROWDER R. MEANSNASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Browder R. Means, 90,
Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Hopkinsville,
died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at his home of
natural causes.Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at
the Westend United Methodist Church, Nashville.
Visitation will be prior to the service. The body
was donated to Vanderbilt Medical Research.A native of Hopkinsville, he was born June 10,
1909, the son of the late W.L. and Harriett Major
Means. He was a retired salesperson and was a
Mason. He was a member of the Westend United
Methodist Church and a former member of the First
United Methodist Church, Hopkinsville.Survivors include his wife, Polly Turberville; a
son, Randy Means, Nashville; a daughter, Harriett
Layfield, Nashville, and three grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the donor's charity of
choice.
