INFANT OF JOHN MARCUMAs the result of drinking coal oil, a little negro child of John Marcum of this city, died Monday.
John Marcum had gone to Crider Sunday to attend the burial of Frank Nichols, the negro, who was killed Friday night.
The child was placed on the floor and in crawling around the house got hold of the coal oil and drank a quantity of it. Caldwell County Aug 1904
