KINKADE
JOHN M. KINKADEGREENVILLE, Ky. _ John Mitchell Kinkade, 87, Greenville, died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 1997 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital following a brief illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Depot, with the Rev. Paul Drury officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 tonight and from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Friday at Gary's Funeral Home.
A native of Christian County, he was born Aug. 21, 1909. He was employed at the Zeigler Coal Co. for 47 years prior to his retirement in 1971. He owned and operated the Kinkade Refrigeration Co. He was a member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at the Oak Grove Baptist Church. His wife, Madge Marie Kinkade, died in 1992.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Kinkade, Wood Dale, Ill., Jim Kinkade, Roselle, Ill., Mitchell Kinkade, Greenville; three daughters, Jo Nell Putman, Mary Mitchell and Brenda Rolley, all of Greenville; a brother, Edward Kinkade, Coral Springs, Fla.; two sisters, Lorene Martin, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Christene Peretti, Chicago.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
