Henderson, died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday,
March 8, 2000, at Methodist Hospital, Henderson,
of natural causes.Arrangements are incomplete at Morgan's Funeral
Home.
MRS J.E. KEYES
Mrs. J.E. KEYES died of a heart attack at her home in Cerulean early Tuesday of last week.
She had apparently been in normal health previously and had been doing her spring house cleaning. Early Tuesday she became ill and complained of a severe headache. As her husband went to get her a drink of water, she collapsed on the floor and never regained consiousness.
Death was attributed to heart failure.
She was 40 years of age and a descendent of a pioneed family of this county.
Besides her husband, she is suvived by two children, Martha Nell and J.E. KEYES,Jr, her mother Mrs. Nancy SMITH, a sister Mrs. Nell BLANKS of Dawson, two brothers, Joe SMITH of Cerulean and Garnett SMITH of Herrin, Ill. Mrs. O.H. MALONE of Cadiz was an aunt and Mrs. G.N. HATCHER, of Cerulean was a cousin. Member of the Meth, Church, Order of Eastern Star and Parent-Teacher Organization.
