Former Wallonia Medic Died In Mo.Word has received this week by the Record of the death of Dr. of Western Missouri at the Barry County Hospital in Cassville, Mo.
Ben B. Kelly, pioneer physician.Dr Kelly was born at Wallonia Ky; in 1869 the son of Edward and Elizabeth Kelly.
After his graduation from the Nashville medical School he settled in Viola, Mo; to practice. Later he spent many years as a pioneering physician in New Mexico returning later to practice in Missouri and settled in Purdy, Mo.
Dr Kelly has many relatives in Trigg county, among them Mrs Will Martin and Mrs Lula Kelly Boyd of Wallonia. He was also a brother of the late John Kelly prominent lawyer of Cadiz Cadiz Record Aug 1944
Died, on the 20th inst, at her home in North Christian, of dropsy, Mrs. Polly A. Kelly.
She was about 54 years of age and leaves two sons, two daughters and a host of friends to mourn her loss. She was a consistent member of the Barn Spring church.
