Hobert Hooper, 83, of 930 N Green St died at his home this week.
He was a member of First Christian Church, active in senior citizen activities and a well know fiddler.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Aaron Wilkerson; a son Basil Hooper, both of Henderson; a sister, Janice Woodning of Louisville; three brothers, Elley and Jesse, both of Geneva, and Delbert of Smith Mills; three grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Tapp Funeral Home.

Pennyrile Deaths May 10, 1999
Rosie M. Hooper, 88, LaFayette Road, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. John United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Phil Hill and the Rev. Larry Davidson officiating.  Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Oakhill Cemetery, Erin, Tenn.  Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville and at the church Tuesday beginning at noon.
A native of Dickson County, Tenn., she was born May 8, 1911, the daughter of the later Milton  Carroll and Dovie Pearl Davidson.  She was a homemaker and a member of the St. John United Meethodist church and the United Methodist Women.  Her husband, James Garland Hooper, died in 1974.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Sue Smith, Paducah, Linda h. Walker, Hopkinsville; a brother, William David Davidson, Goodlettsville; two sisters, Ola Mae Hagewood, Cumberland Furnace, Tenn., Dottie Wall, Dockson, Tenn; a granddaughter and one great grandson.

Memorials may be made to the St. John United Methodist Church.
