WALTER WARFILED HILL

On the 28th of June, 1909, we who know and loved him were called to give up the noble and good husband, father and friend in the person of Mr. Warfield Hill.  While our hearts are more than sad, yet we look up and know that all is well.  In giving up Mr. Hill, not only the family, but the entire community has lost a friend that will cause general grief.  We can say of him what could be said of few men; often I have heard it said that he was a man without an enemy.  No one ever heard an unkind word from his lips.  To the bereaved ones we would say: Let the calm of the blessed thought, “At Rest”, come into your hearts and comfort you.
