The Rev. J. Wesley Hibbs, 78, died Thursday at Muhlenberg County Hospital of natural causes.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Revs. Howard Jones, Stephen Hibbs and Anthony Broadley oficiating. Burial will follow at Island Methodist Cemetary.
A native of Hanson, he was born March 7, 1920, son of the late Lawrence and Lilia B. Rudd Hibbs. He was a retired pastor of the Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church in Trigg County, A Veteran and a member of the Board of Shelton Memorial Campground and the Full Gospel Ministers Fellowship.
Survivors include his wife Virginia Martine Case Hibbs; a daughter, Beverly Clifton, Evansville, Ind., and a son, the Rev. Stephen W. Hibbs, Greenville.
