HARGROVE
VEVAH HARGROVEFuneral services for Vevah Hargrove, 67, of Cadiz, were conducted on April 6, 2001 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Terry Lee McNichols officiated the services. Burial followed in the Ezell Cemetery in trigg County.
Mrs. Hargrove died April 3 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville following a long illness.
Mrs. Hargrove was born on August 7, 1933 in trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Ellis Blane "Trigg" and Johnnie Jewell Frith Tucker. Mrs. Hargrove was retired from Lake Barkley State Resort Park with 20 years of service where she worked in the baking department. She was a member of the Linto United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lewis Hargrove and a sister, Bessie Lorraine Tucker.
Survivors include a son, Randy Hargrove of Hopkinsville; a daughter, Ruth Martin of Cadiz; a sister, Marilyn Pleasant of Henderson; three grandchildren, Cody Hargrove, Caleb Hargrove, and Randa Hargrove, and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Danny Hampton, Chris Hampton, Jason Hampton, Eddie Pleasant, Mike Francis and Johnny edmonds.
Music was provided by Mae Perdue, organist and Marilyn Pleasant, Mike Francis, Wendy Sugg, and Chris Hampton, vocalists.
