LAWRENCEBURG -Ind. - Earnest C. Gilbert, 61, died at 11 p.m. Thursday at Dearborn County Hospital. He was a retired employee of the Person Hollowed Veneer Mill.
He is survived by three daughters, Susan Morteshed and Katherine Gilbert of Henderson, Nina Gilbert of Lawrence; five sons, Ernest, David and Leonard of Henderson, Ronnie of Lawrenceburg, Dennis of Westfield, Ind.; two sisters, Flosie Henson of Sunman. Ind., and Ima Kilburn of Guilford, Ind.; three brothers, Eidron of Largo, Fla., Henry of Lawrenceburg and Walter of Arizona; 13 grandchildren
Funeral arrangements are pending.

Hon. J. W. GILBERT, State Senator for the counties of Calloway, Lyon, Livingston, and Trigg; prominent capitalist, tobacco manufacturer, and president of the Citizens Bank of Murray, died Tuesday morning at his suburban house near Murray, of paralysis and stomach trouble.He has been ill for more than a year, and was not able to attend the recent extra session of the Legislature and had just returned from Hot Springs where he had gone for his health. He was about sixty years of age and leaves a large family.

PHILLIP GILBERT
Phillip GILBERT, 63, of 616 Ingram St. died at 10:05 p.m. Friday at Veterans Medical Center in Marion, Ill. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and a retired city sanitation worker.
He is survived by two sons, Phillip Jr., of Henderson and William C, of Evansville; three sisters, Mary GILBERT, Pearl PERT and Mini TURNER, all of Henderson; two brothers, the Rev. Clearance GILBERT and Henry GILBERT, both of Henderson; three grandchildren
Arrangements are pending at Reedier Funeral Home.

WILLIE GILBERTWillie Gilbert of 531 S Ingram St. died at 8 a.m. Saturday at Redbanks Nursing Home. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, The Rev. Clarence Gilbert; one foster son, Tyrone Young of Henderson; four stepdaughters, Bertha Jackson, Robert Harrison, Juanita Turner and Marie Floyd all of Henderson; four stepsons, Clarence and William Gilbert of Chicago, George Gilbert of Evansville and Thurman Gilbert of Henderson; one brother Fred Thacker of Rochester, N. Y.; one sister, Lottie Louis of Terre Haute, Ind.; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. W. Baker officiating. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Gains Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Wednesda
