Sebree - Mrs. Luenva B. GAYES, 74 died Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Evelyn) LITTLEPAGE, R. R. 3 Sebree, Ky. Surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. Lee Roy CORBETT, Sebree and Mrs. Lila PERRIN, Miami, Fla.; three sons, J. Z. of Sebree, George and James both of Miammi, Fla. A brother John R. BROWN of Lake City, Ark. Thirteen grandchildren and Three great grandchildren.

Wiliam "Bill" Thomas Gates, 74, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center after an illness. Burial will be in the Hale Cemetery.
A native of Christian County, he was born Feb 11, 1914, the son of the late Beckham Thomas and Effie Mae Lee Gates. He was a Navy Veteran, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Bluff Springs Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Reynolds Gates; a son Raymond Lee Gates, Houston Texas; two daughters, Jean Gates Williams, Hopkinsville, Linda Gates Papp, Norwalk, Conn.; a brother, Homer Gates, of the county, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
