MYRTLE GALBREATH

             Myrtle Galbreath, 81, Mechanic Street, died at
             2:45 this morning, Feb. 17, 2000, at Pinecrest
             Manor of natural causes.

             Arrangements are incomplete at Adams and Sons
             Mortuary.

             MYRTLE GALBREATH

             Services for Myrtle Helen Galbreath, 81,
             Mechanic Street, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at
             the First Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. C.E.
             Timberlake officiating.

             Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.
             Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, and
             visitation with the family will be from 6 until 7
             p.m. Sunday at Adams and Sons Mortuary.

             She died Thursday morning, Feb. 17, 2000, at
             Pinecrest Manor of natural causes.

             A native of Trigg County, she was born March 11,
             1918, the daughter of the late Preston Patterson and
             Laura Burnett. She was a domestic employee and
             was a member of the First Street Baptist Church.
             Her first husband, Joseph Poindexter, died in 1949.
             Her second husband, James Clayton Galbreath,
             died in 1988.

             Survivors include two sons, Will H. Poindexter,
             Hopkinsville, Ivory White, Edwardsville, Ill.; a
             daughter, Mary Katherine Potter, Hopkinsville; a
             brother, Finis Rogers, Hopkinsville; five
             grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one
             stepgrandson.
