ALPHA CURTIS MITCHELL FOWLER

Alpha Curtis Mitchell Fowler, 82, Cadiz, died at 8 p.m. Freday at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Revs. Paul Cannon and Jerry Turner officiating. Burial was in East End Cemetery.
A native of Ballard County, she was born Jan. 17, 1916, the daughter of the late Arvie Mason and Valie Alice McAllister Curtis. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church. Her first husband, Gentry Mitchell, died in 1949. Her second husband, Earl Millard Fowler Sr., died in 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Norris Mitchell, Cadiz, and Earl Fowler Jr., Cadiz; three daughters, Mrs. Doug Oliver, Carolyn Henderson, and Mrs. Joe Bridges. Cadiz four brothers, Norris, Seldon and Malcolm Curtis, all of Cadiz, Iler Curtis, Fountain Run; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Lady With Many Friends Passes Away Near Wallonia
SARA ELIZABETH MITCHELL BUSH FOWLER
MRS. ELIZA FOWLER died last Thursday at the home of her son, Alonzo Bush, on the farm of Mr. F.M. Atwood, near Wallonia, as the result of a paralytic stroke.
Mrs. Fowler was a Miss Mitchell before her marriage being a sister of Mr. W.O. Mitchell and Mr. Joe Mitchell, of this county.
By her first marriage, she is survived by two children - Alonzo Bush and Mrs. Fetus Cain, and by the second marriage one son Tilden Fowler, who lives near Canton.
She was a member of the Bethesa Methodist church and was a good and kind woman, and had many friends.
The burial took place Friday afternoon at the Mitchell grave yard near Bethesda. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.W. Pangburn, her pastor.

EVANSVILLE - Rebecca Ann FOWLER, 12, died at 9:05 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Medical Center after a long illness.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Osborne FOWLER of Evansville; one brother, Mathew, at home; her grandparents, Myrle FOWLER of Sturgis and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald WILDBER of Australia; and her foster grandmother, Marie MAYES of Henderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Burdon and the Rev. William Price officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today.

Pennyrile Deaths March 27, 1999
W.C. “Tra” Fowler, 22, Lovers Lane, died at 11:43 a.m. Friday at his home following an illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Danny Beicher officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial   Gardens, Christian County.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Jan. 23, 1977. He was the son of T.F. and Debra Noel Fowler, Hopkinsville, and was a junior at Western Kentucky University, where he was studying sports medicine, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He  was the athletic trainer for Western’s football and soccer teams and had been on the Christian County High School wrestling team for four years. He was in the CCHS band and was the school’s football trainer.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his paternal grandparents, W.C. and Marilyn Fowler, Hopkinsvjlle, and C.A. and Nona Myers, Canton; maternal grandparents, Robert and Martha Noel, Hopkinsvjlle; a brother, Trent Fowler, of the home; and a sister, Tricia Fowler, of the home.
