UCITE FLEMINGS
HAZEL M. FLEMINGHazel Mae Fleming, 88, Hopkinsville, died at
3:25 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Jennie
Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Virginia
Street Baptist Church, with M.O. Fort officiating.
Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Gamble
Funeral Home, and visitation with family members
will be from 6 until 7 p.m.A native of Hopkinsville, she was born April 30,
1911, the daughter of the late Gano and Mossie
Browder Henderson. She was a homemaker and a
member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of Isis and
the Golden Circle and was a member of the
Virginia Street Baptist Church where she served on
the usher board. Her husband, Leslie Fleming,
preceded her in death.Survivors include a daughter, Betty A. Pettus,
Hopkinsville and two grandchildren.
UCITE FLEMINGSMORGANFIELD - Lucite FLEMINGS, of 1718 W. O'Baniod St., Morganfield, died at 9 a.m. Monday, at Community Methodist Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Hod in Christ in Morganfield.
She is survived by five sons, Edmons of Houston, Texas, Curtis of La Granger, Robert of Evansville, Marcellus of Chicago and Christine of Morganfield; six daughters, Wilma Tucker of Chicago, Yolando FLEMINGS of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Martella , Juanita, Bethain and Christine, all of Morganfield; four sisters, Mrs. Mert FRAZIER, Willie Mae, Anna T. and Berthina, all of Murfreesboro; five brothers, Melvin, Claude, Tom, Jake and Robert FRAZIER, all of Evansville; 17 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Morganfield. The rev. Elder McGee will officiate. Burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call at Gains Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Thursday until 4 p.m. Friday.
