Charles H. Eggner Dies At Outwood Hospital
Charles Hoover Eggner, 63, retired army sergeant, and well known in Trigg county died at 5 a.m. Monday, February 5, at the Outwood Veteran's hospital, Dawson Springs.
He resided at 219 North Sixth Street, Paducah.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Effie Eggner, a stepson, Eugene Davis, of Graves county; a sister Mrs J.T. Thomas, Donaldson creek and several other relatives.
Mr Eggner was a veteran of the Spanish American War and the World War, and a member of the Baptist Church.
The body was shipped to Paducah Monday afternoon. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at the Lindsay
Funeral home in Paducah with Rev. L.K. Bishop officiating. Burial followed at the Owen's Chapel cemetery, Graves county.
His sister, Mrs J.P. Thomas attended the funeral from this county
