DOROTHY BEAUMONT CHILDS CROUCH
Dorothy Beaumont Childs Crouch, 86, Village Green, died at 2:26 p.m. Sunday at her home of natural causes.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Thomas W. Eblen and Shawn Gee officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetry.
A native of Clarksville, Tenn.; she was born Feb 9, 1912, the daughter of the late Robert Hunter and Lucy Beaumont Childs. She had taught early in her career and retired in 1974 as supervisor for the Hopkinsville Independent Schools. She was a former memeber of the Jennie stuart Medical Cnter Hospital Auxiliary, the History and LiteratureClub and Delta Kappa Oamma. She was a membr of First United Methodist Church where she was also a member of missionary society. Her husband, William Lawrence Crouch Jr., died in 1990
Survivors include, a son, William Lawrence Crouch. lll, Nashville, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence F. (Carol) Campbell, Mrs. W. Ed (Ann) Poe and Mrs. Douglas (Sallie) Colburn, all of Hopkinsville; a brother, Robert Fletcher Childs, Mongomery, Ala.; Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
