R. B. CRAVENS, 87, retired farmer living near Pool, died Monday at 1:15 a.m. Monday. Surviving is the widow, Jennie CRAVENS; a daughter, Mrs. E. P. ORSBORN, of Pool, two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the General Baptist Church in Poole with the Rev. Carl Williams officiating. Burial in the church Cemetery, Shady Grove. (1867-1954)(Sebree Banner 1940) Moms scrapbook.

MRS. S. CRAVENS Dies Tuesday Night June 15
Prominent Woman Heart Disease Victim
Mrs. Sam CRAVENS passed quietly into the fairer region Tuesday night, June 15 at her apartment in the home of Mrs.
Johnnie WINSTEAD on West Main St.
She had been in ill health for several weeks of a heart ailment, her condition becoming critical Sunday evening when partial paralysis developed as a complication. Her passing was a crushing shock to her loved ones and friends.
Mrs. CRAVENS moved from this community to Flint, MIch., but returned recently so that her youngest daughter , Miss Mozelle CRAVEN, might complete her course at the Cobb High School.
On the development of the fatal malady she and her daughter removed to Mrs. WINSTEAD's home to be convenientl.

S. G. CRAVENS Dies in Flint, Mich., After Accident
Samuel G. CRAVENS, 57 year old former resident of Princeton was struck by an automobile and almost instantly killed early Monday morning in Flint, Mich., where he has been living for the last five years.
Mr. CRAVENS lived in the Cobb community before moving to Flint with his family in 1936.
His body was brought here to the Morgan Funeral Home Tuesday. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at Morgan's Funeral Home at 2 o'clock.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs.Butler HOLLOWELL, Chicago; Mrs. Aubrey STEWART, Hopkinsville; Miss Mazelle
CRAVENS, Los Angeles, Cal; Mrs. F. H. CORPS, Los Angeles, and a son, M.D. CRAVENS, Ferndale, Mich. He also
leaves a large number of relatives here and in Caldwell county.
