DIXON - Edna COSBY, 92, of Clay died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at Shemwell Nursing Home in Providence.
She is survived by a sister, Dixie MARKS of Dallas, Texas.
Arrangements are pending at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon.

L.C. COSBY, 53, of 224 S. Alvasia St., died at 6 p.m. at Deaconess Medical Center in Evansville.
He was a member of the seventh Street Baptist Church where he served on the usher board and was a veteran of world War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Anna; two daughters, Hernanza of Henderson and Noizetta CALBERT of Fort Harrison, Ind.; two sons, Charles and Postell of Henderson; one grandchild; six sisters, Alice TAPP and Mary TAPP of Henderson, Georgia WELLS and Barbara DANIELS of Indianapolis, Beulah WASHINGTON of St. Louis and Vivian BIRKS of Cleveland, Ohio; four brothers, Purtis Jr. of Evansville, Robert, Clarence and Lee all of Henderson; one aunt and one uncle.

SHIRLEY C. COSBY
Shirley C. Cosby, 82, of 408 Smith Ave., died at 8:30 a. m. Saturday at Community Methodist Hospital.
Cosby recently returned to Henderson from Evansville, where he operated Cosby Produce for 28 years. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Temple and a former member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Evansville, where he served as a deacon. He was a 30 year member of the United Commercial Travelers.
He is survived by his wife, Ora; one sister, Mrs. Willis Butler of Henderson; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Moore and Rev. David Bruce officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Benny Beyl, Max Hellums, Ralph Loesch, Ordell Mayes, Jim Henager and James Drake.
friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
