GERTRUDE COMER
Gertrude Comer, 84, Brookfield Manor,
formerly of Campbellsville, died Sunday, Feb.
20, 2000, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of
natural causes.Graveside services were Tuesday morning at
Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Lexington.
Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home, Campbellsville, was
in charge of arrangements.A native of Campbellsville, she was born May 27,
1915, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Keys. She was a homemaker and a
member of the United Methodist church. Her
husband, Earl Comer, preceded her in death.Two sisters, Betty Keith Leigh, Hopkinsville, and
Lois Higbee, Campbellsville, survive.Memorials may be made to the Highland
Presbyterian Church.
