             Clifford Walter "Sal" Cohoon, 78, Cox Mill
             Road, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 21,
             2000, at his home of natural causes.

             Arrangements are incomplete at Lamb Funeral
             Home.

             "SAL" COHOON

             Services for Clifford Walton "Sal" Cohoon,
             78, Cox Mill Road, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday
             at Northwest Baptist Church, with the Revs. R.J.
             "Rick" McGowan, Michael Branch and John R.
             Christian officiating.

             Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
             Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at
             Lamb Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. Saturday at
             the church until time for the service.

             He died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at
             his home of natural causes.

             A native of Stewart County, Tenn., he was born
             Oct. 10, 1921, the son of the late Cloyd and Flois
             Lena Griffin Cohoon. He was an electrician who
             had worked for 25 years with John Smith Electric.
             He was a farmer and a World War II Navy veteran.
             He was a member of the Northwest Baptist Church.

             Survivors include his wife, Euton Hensley Cohoon;
             two daughters, Mrs. John "Dodie" Quigley,
             Louisville, Deanna Hyams Turner, Hopkinsville;
             two brothers, James "Pink" Cohoon, Pembroke,
             Robert "Toad" Cohoon, Trigg County; seven
             sisters, Lucille Martin, Sara Fish and Patty
             Gamble, all of Hopkinsville, Jeanette Gilmore,
             Ashland City, Tenn., Eva Jean Waldrop, Anniston,
             Ala., Del Shackleford, Jackson, Tenn., Barbara
             Rives, Christian County; and two grandchildren.

             Memorials may be made to the building fund of the
             Northwest Baptist Church.
