54, Beaumont Court, long-time coach and
teacher at Hopkinsville High school, died at 1:20
p.m. Monday, Feb.1, 2000, at Hopkinsville High
School after suffering an apparent heart attack.Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United
Methodist Church, with the Rev. Thomas W. Eblen
officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at
Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville.A native of Fort Knox, he was born June 14, 1945,
the son of the late Joe B. and Frances Sale Cohn.He had retired as swim coach and health teacher at
Hopkinsville High School where he taught for 25
years. Earlier in his career, he taught for two years
in Madisonville. He started the Pennyrile Aquatic
Club. He was currently serving as assistant swim
coach at Hopkinsville High, where he also taught a
physical education class.Survivors include his wife, Lynne R. Cohn; two
daughters, Ellen C. Bloomfield and Emily L. Cohn,
both of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; and a sister, Barbara
Jo Bradbury, Kirkwood, Mo.Memorials may be made to the Tiger Aquatic
Boosters, 304 Jonaquin Circle, Hopkinsville, Ky.,
42240, in care of Liz Isele.
