A young man by the name of Clements died at Empire Tuesday of congestive chills.
JOHN R. CLEMENTSEVANSVILLE - John R. Clements, 75, of Route 1, Mount Vernon , Ind., died at 10:25 a.m. Sunday at Deaconess Hospital.
He retired 10 years ago as a tool and die maker of Hanson Manufacturing Co.
He is survived by his wife, Cleoma, of Henderson; four daughters, Gladys Ehrardt of Scotsdale, Ariz., Jeanette Bates of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Connie Bossie and Fail Bender, both of Evansville; three sons, John R. Jr., of Clarksville, Ind., Kenneth D. of Mount Vernon and Donald J. of Evansville; a sister, Mary Angle Clements of Evansville; four half-sisters, Francis Cavanaugh, Phyllis Bredenkamp and Betty Ellis, all of Evansville, and Catherine M. Tooms of Morganfield; a brother William of Louisville; two half-brothers, Gorden and Thomas Clements, both of Morganfield. his step mother, Freda Clements of Morganfield; 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at St. Phillip's Evansville.
