Auburn, Ky - Sept. 9 - This morning about 11 o'clock, as little Luther Chaney, who is about 8 years of age, was playing on a pile of lumber, in this town, it fell upon him, killing him instantly.

Otto "Jug" Chaney, 61, of Route 6 died at 8:40 p.m. Monday at Deaconess Hospital.
he is survived by his wife, Agnes; three daughters, Mrs. Michael Stallins, Marie Chaney and Mrs. John Branson, all of Henderson; three sons, John and Ed, both of Henderson and David of Beals; three sisters, Edith Thompson of Beals, Dottie Billings of Henderson, and Atha Homimer of Cave in Rock, Ill.; one brother, Robert Chaney of Salt Lake City; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home with the Rev. J. W. Haire officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home anytime.
